La Cañada Golf Club Driving Range
We have a wide practice area, with different putting greens, chipping and pìtching areas and with one of the most comfotable dirving ranges in the area.
Driving Range
: We have a natural tee line and also we have a large turf
Area: 300 meters by 80 meters (24.000 m2)
Maximum distance allowed: 270 meters
Capacity: 60 to 80 people at once
Targets: Several, even pins
Carpet or Grass Stalls: Grass and turf
Covered: Half of it
Buckets of balls: 25 balls per token
Putting Green
: We have 2, one close to the 1st tee and another one close to the clubhouse and 10th tee
Area: 1st PG = 30m by 10m (300 m2)- CH PG = 50m by 20m (1000 m2)
Number of people: 50 people
Chipping Green
: We have 2, one close to the driving range and 10th tee, and another one close to 1st tee
Area: Both with 20m by 10m (200 m2), more or less
Number of People: We can have 50 people
Bunkers: We have different bunkers in both chipping areas
Distances (30,40,50m...): No, only chipping and short pitching

Golf Course
La Cañada Golf Club Sotogrande, Andalusia
The La Cañada Golf Course is a fitting tribute to the people of Guadiaro who became golf addicts overnight with the emergence of Sotogrande. In the early days of the golf course, La Cañada just had 9 holes, and some years later it was added a second course designed by David Thomas. The full length Trent Jones course is located in the hills adjacent to Valderrama and is open to some wind. (...)
